Jake Tromburg
Jake Tromburg was born and raised in Minnesota, and moved to the Chesapeake area from St Paul, Minnesota in May 2015 to serve as pastor. He didn’t grow up in a Christian home, but was saved in his late teens and later became involved in a church plant in St Paul. It was around this time he began actively pursuing preparation for full time ministry. By God’s grace, Jake had the opportunity to study at the Master’s Seminary in Los Angeles, CA where he earned a Masters in Divinity in 2012. After seminary, he ministered as an intern at Beacon of Hope church for 3 years before answering the call to serve at SNCC. Jake has a wonderful wife, Marie, and together they have 4 children. Jake and Marie both have a passion for God’s Word, and love to see God use His Word to change hearts and minds. In their free time they enjoy spending time together playing games, reading, or being outside doing anything active.
Scott Rapach
Scott Rapach was saved by God’s grace in 2008. He and his wife, Erin, were married in 2001 in Virginia Beach. They homeschool their two sons, Christopher and Patrick. Scott works as a business consultant.
Scott was raised Catholic and after salvation returned to the church but was never settled. Throughout his career in the Army, he and his family bounced from church to church, never truly being fed the Word. The Lord led them to SNCC in 2018 and they were finally settled. Scott immediately began serving and has continued to serve SNCC as the Financial Officer, Youth Group Leader, Sunday School Teacher, Deacon, and now as an Elder.
Scott and Erin have a deep passion for the Word and enjoy seeing the Lord work in people’s lives.
Greg Davis
Gregory Davis and his wife Lauren have two children, Vincent and Joshua. They reside in Chesapeake, Virginia, where they have been faithful members of the SNCC family. During this time Greg and Lauren have been growing in Christ together and have enjoyed serving in a variety of ways in the church. He has a passion for teaching in both the youth and the adult Sunday schools and more recently overseeing missions at SNCC. Greg has been pursuing further education at Virginia Beach Theological Seminary and Regent University and is overjoyed to see how God has been at work in family life and looking forward to witnessing God’s providence unfold.
