1. In the beginning, Pastor Jake mentioned two things he tried to establish last week as an introduction to the passage and made the connection between our prayers and putting on the armor.

   2. Describe the connection between prayer and putting on the armor.

   3. How does this help us encourage others who feel they do not have the strength to stand?

2. In Luke 18:1-8, Jesus tells a parable about prayer.

   1. What does 18:1 say is the purpose of His parable?

   2. Does this parable invite general prayers for anything, or is there something specific in the context that Jesus is promising will come quickly?

   3. Why is it important to remember that “quickly” in God’s mind is much different than “quickly” in our own minds?

3. Luke 11:1-13 records another parable about prayer told by the Lord Jesus.

   2. What wonderful promise does this parable teach us as God’s children?

   3. How do we reconcile that with not receiving everything we ask for in the timing we would like to receive it?
